Rick Collins serves as the Project Manager for Carolina Home Improvements.  Rick has been involved in the residential construction industry for over 35 years working with C.W. Collins Construction, a  family owned corporation based in Rock Hill, SC, started by his Father, the late Sonny Collins. 

 

Additionally, Rick is currently a licensed attorney in South Carolina (2001 to present) admitted, in good standing, by The South Carolina Supreme Court, to practice law in any court in South Carolina.  Rick is also licensed to practice in The U. S. District Court for the Federal District of S.C.;  The U.S. Court of  Appeals for Federal Circuit headquartered in Washington, D.C. and The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Federal Circuit located in Richmond, Virginia.   

 

Rick comes to Carolina Home Improvements as a former Federal Background Contract Investigator employed by CSRA, General Dynamics, 1Force (A Keypoint Government Solutions Contractor), and SCIS (Now Paragon Investigations) where he obtained and maintained a Tier 5 Top Secret Security Clearance issued by The U.S. Department of Defense by and through The Defense Counter-Intelligence and Security Agency, formerly, The National Background Investigation Bureau (an entity of The U.S. Office Of Personnel Management).  

 

Over the course of Rick's 20 year legal career, he has honorably served as an Assistant Prosecutor for the  11th Circuit Solicitor's Office in Lexington, South Carolina, under the Former Solicitor Donald V. Myers,  and Current Solicitor, Rick Hubbard.  Prior to serving with the Lexington County Solicitor's Office, Rick worked full-time as a Magistrate  where he faithfully served the County of Lexington, the State of South Carolina and its citizens.   Additionally, Rick has practiced law in various areas including civil defense litigation and residential foreclosures.

Rick began his career as a Police Officer with the City of York, SC, Police Department where he graduated from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy with Distinguished Honors, and later joined with The York County Sheriff's Department as a Patrol Deputy and member of the Special Weapons and Tactics Team.
